Core Foundations of Faith

There is one God who exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Holy Scriptures as originally written were divinely inspired by God, divinely orchestrated in its assembly, infallible, living and active; and authoritative in all matters of faith and conduct.

The Father’s heart is that all would come to know Him and be saved.

Jesus Christ (Son) is God manifest in the flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary. Jesus led a sinless life and became the sacrifice for our sins and our redemption. We believe in His death, resurrection, ascension, and His personal return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit dwells within each believer. The Holy Spirit is our ultimate teacher and helper in understanding and applying the Holy Scriptures to our lives. It is through the Holy Spirit’s work in us that we are enabled to live a holy life and it is through His infilling that we are given power to do the works, miracles, signs, and wonders of His ministry.

Salvation is only by grace demonstrated in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and received through faith apart from our works.

All true believers are adopted into Sonship to be called children of God, united in Spirit and are to function in unity as the Body of Christ.

There is a literal heaven and hell. We believe the Lord’s mercy is over all children before the age of accountability, an age that God Himself shall judge. The kingdom of heaven is received through a relationship with Jesus Christ which necessitates faith and repentance. Repentence unto salvation = a mindset shift from relying on our own idea of godliness and our attempt to fulfill it to instead relying on the nature of Jesus Christ being given to us as a free gift.

Ever Increasing Faith and the Great Commission

We believe that the Church is commissioned to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ, leading people to the Father’s love for the salvation of their souls, deliverance from darkness, and manifesting God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. We believe we are to spread the message of the gospel by the power of God, accompanied by signs, wonders, and miracles. As Jesus’s ministry was confirmed through healing and deliverance, so too the Holy Spirit wants to continue this work through His Church to confirm His message, to demonstrate His love, and to destroy the works of the devil. We are believing the Church will yet see what Jesus spoke of when He declared that GREATER THAN THESE shall we do!

We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for all believers, whether young or old, male or female, Jew or Gentile. His gifts are used for the purpose of leading unbelievers to the Lord, setting captives free, as well as for the edification of the Church.

We believe that despite the testimony and importance these giftings of the Holy Spirit attest to, the greatest glory to God remains to be a character which displays the fruit of His Spirit within us. Without love, the gifts of the Spirit count for nothing.
